In September 2024, Jess, the owner of X-Sisters, took a significant step by acquiring the land for the iconic Street Whores sim in Second Life.

Street Whores has long been one of the most well-known locations in Second Life, especially within its adult entertainment scene. Originally established as a virtual red-light district, Street Whores was a thriving space for community interaction, adult roleplay, and sex work. Over the years, it built a reputation not only for its services but for being a key hub where stories and connections were formed. It became an essential part of Second Life’s social landscape.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of ongoing management and maintenance, Street Whores was eventually removed from the grid after its tier payments lapsed. This left a gap in the community, as many of its regular visitors and workers were left without a place that held such a unique history.

Recognizing the importance of the sim and its potential, Jess successfully purchased the land at auction in 2024. Now, under her guidance and with an experienced team behind it, Street Whores is being completely rebuilt from the ground up. The new version will respect the legacy of the original while incorporating modern elements to ensure it meets the expectations of today’s Second Life residents.

This relaunch isn’t just about bringing back an old sim — it’s also restoring a cornerstone of the Second Life adult industry. Under Jess’s leadership, Street Whores will once again be a space for adult services, creativity, and community, with an emphasis on high-quality experiences and professional management.

X-Sisters and Street Whores will remain separate brands, each with their own distinct identity and operations.

The goal is simple: to take Street Whores into the future, building on its history while making it relevant to the current and growing community of Second Life users.

Street Whores is much more than just a name. It’s an institution within the virtual world, and its return marks the beginning of a new era for both the sim and X-Sisters.

Now, it’s back — and bigger than ever.
